This show is going to be a BLAST. Jon Rudnitsky and I have been long-time friends and fans of each others’ work… you may recognize him from performing on SNL, playing Young Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm, or the cute rom-com Home Again. His stand-up is HILARIOUS; his physical comedy is like NOTHING I’ve seen before. Jon has admittedly cried so hard that he laughed at my shows and I’ve admittedly laughed so hard that I cried at his shows… so we thought this would be a CATHARTIC night for everyone. Let’s get emotional <3

Sorry I’ve been MIA
I’ve barely been able to come up for air these past two months.
So many highs… my 30th bday, lots of friends’ bdays (~so much Aries energy~), my bro’s bachelor party (which I threw for him as his Best Man), his fiancee’s bridal shower, my cousin’s baby shower. Got to see a few Bway shows (the highlight being “Illinoise,” based on the Sufjan Stevens album which practically underscored my teenage years), support friends at their amazing gigs, and watch former students shine onstage in their school musicals :)
AND so many lows… I was hit with a violent stomach bug out of nowhere, leaving me exhausted with no appetite for days. And around the same time, both my grandma Audrey and our family friend Gabri’El passed away :( At Grandma’s funeral in Pittsburgh, people kept telling me I look just like her (something I’ve never thought or heard in my life), but found really sweet. Do you see it?
As I write this, I’m home with a bad cold. Clearly, the universe is telling me to slowww the fuck down and give myself some TLC (Tylenol, lozenges, and chicken noodle soup).
March winds + April showers = May flowers (pls?)
Good news is… it can only go up from here! Resting up so I’ll be in tip-top shape for the show w/ Jon in 2 weeks :) Remember to buy your tix here!
